Dr. Bruce Finkel has practiced medicine in Savannah since 1995. In 1999 

he co-founded Coastal Allergy & Asthma, P.C. and AeroAllergy Research Laboratories of Savannah, Inc. 

Dr. Finkel has lectured and published extensively on topics related to allergy, asthma, and other immunological disorders. Dr. Finkel is a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, & Immunology, the American College of Allergy Asthma & Immunology, and the American Association of Pediatrics, and is also a member of the Southeastern Allergy Association, the Medical Association of Georgia, and the Joint Council of Allergy Asthma, and Immunology. 

Dr. Finkel is one of the few physicians in the region to become a Certified Principal Investigator 

for ethical standards and practices in clinical research.  Dr. Finkel is past Chairman of the Department of Pediatrics, Memorial Health University Medical Center, 2001-2003, and is currently Assistant Professor of Pediatrics, Mercer University School of Medicine, Savannah Campus.

Michigan native Dr. Jennifer Appleyard comes to Savannah by way of Detroit where she trained and worked for over 30 years. She headed the allergy department at Lakeshore Ear, Nose & Throat Center, a large comprehensive ENT group serving the metropolitan Detroit area, and was Section Chief of Allergy at Ascension St. John Hospital for the past 25 years. Dr. Appleyard was named an Hour Detroit Magazine Top Doctor by her peers 19 of the last 20 years, earned a 5-Star rating from The Physician Alliance in southeast Michigan and was accredited by The US Joint Commission. She is thrilled to relocate to the Coastal Empire, and with her many years of adult and pediatric allergy experience, she has made an excellent 2022 addition to the Coastal Allergy & Asthma family.
