Our Board Certified Allergists Treat the CAUSE not the SYMPTOMS of Allergic, Asthmatic or Immunological Disorders.
An allergist is specially trained to diagnose, treat and manage allergies, asthma and immunologic disorders including primary immunodeficiency disorders. Becoming an allergist requires at least an additional nine years of training.
After completing their medical school training, our physicians proceed with a three year residency in either pediatrics or internal medicine before moving on to an additional multi-year fellowship in allergy and immunology. After completion of their extensively fellowship training, our physicians then need to pass a thorough professional board exam.
